INTRODUCING COSMIC LOVER
Cosmic Lover is the new astrological dating application made to connect people and empower them to form emotional romantic connections in a more meaningful way. Love isn’t a swipe right! Cosmic Lover provides users with the tools to understand themselves more in depth, to explore further aspects of their compatibility with others, and to discover their new potential partners, lovers, dates, and companions. This dating application provides people across Australia with dating encounters that follow the stars not looks. Cosmic Lover finds compatibility based on astrological pseudoscience, at Cosmic Lover we strive to provide better communication and divine emotional connections on a deep level.
Cosmic Lover builds on the dating models of Tinder and Bumble’s swiping system, however each profile is based and translated from birth and natal charts. Cosmic lover, takes a user-friendly approach to provide people with valuable insights and data within compatibility to gain better potential matches, as we analyse users unique zodiac elements, personality trends and provide love scores, personalised love forecasts, unlockable charms and dating challenges. Each profile is a customisable experience with a selection of photos with a swipe up option where you can see a person’s likes, interests, location.
At Cosmic Lover we like to provide our users with detailed astrological readings which are written daily, monthly and year for our horoscopes forecasting feature. We send reminders such as ‘your daily dating horoscopes are here’ and weekly prompts such as ‘a match awaits and maybe some more love scores, too!’. When matching with another user both profiles must ‘accept’ one another in order to ‘connect’ and unlock compatibility mode. Once acceptance is made in “love match”, “compatibility mode” can be used for both users to read and see if their optional match is really in their cosmos. Once “compatibility mode” has been reached and achieved users can unlock chat mode, and spark conversations.
Cosmic Lover gamifies romance as all usable modes and features in dating matches must be unlocked with new love partners. Cosmic Lover pushes gamification elements a step further with our ‘challenge system’ where charms and level upgrades can be achieved and unlocked to provide users with extra features when being matched with other users, once users reach max level ten, they can unlock the function of Tarot reading with potential matches.
This challenge system will take place between users whose messages everyday over a set number of consecutive days can ‘unlock’ these charms, strengthening the online communication aspect. Users will have time stamps to complete such as ‘send another a greeting to unlock photo sending option’ and second step is unlocking the the video calling feature when talking to one another for a week and ultimately meet up in real life.These charms and levels can be shown on profiles to show other users that this individual has unlocked certain achievements.
COSMIC LOVER APP
This application strives to find and build emotional connection between two people as we view elements of zodiac and astrological pseudo-science such as communication, love languages, sex life chemistry. Our niche is ‘zodiac interest’ individuals who are seeking in depth connections. Through our astrology swiping dating app we hope to create long term relationships, this can be seen in a 2017 survey that 14,000 people were married or engaged from meeting on online swipe dating apps (Holtzhausen, et al, 2020).
TIER GOALS
Tier 1 = is the ability for users to to compare birth charts, horoscopes, challenges and personality reports of matches. When our app reports over 30,000 active users, and funding by backers of $1600!
Tier 2 = is to expand our base language of English to different language settings and the ability to increase togetherness not distance. When our app reports over 50,000 users, and funding by backers of $3200!
Tier 3 = Once we have an increased number of users, this will allow us to expand on our app, across different countries as we are currently located and based in Australia, this will form a global village within the dating sphere. When our app reports over 100,000 users, and funding by backers of $4800!
Tier 4 = We can unlock an online dating coach expert with one on one consultations via chat, video and or phone with users to help better understand oneself and certain aspects they may need to improve on such as ‘love advice’ and ‘personal guidance’. When our app reports over 300,000 users, and funding by backers of $6400!
Final Tier 5 = Tribute by means of a short film that looks at the process of app curation, behind the scenes for all our online supporters. It is to be implemented when we reach our backers goal of matching 500,000 active users and funding by backers of $8000!
GOALS
Our pledge goals would be to reach $8000 and we will need 500,000 active backed users to support us!
USER SUPPORT
Cosmic Lover needs your help to end meaningless swiping, we don’t want users falling victim to dead digitised dating, we need your help to enhance real emotional connection within conversations and relationship building as opposed to physical attraction. We need as many active users as possible in order for the app to function globally and we need your help with funding needs to improve on bug fixes and improvements, upgrades, user ability and application maintenance. Allow us to unlock our goals to increase users’ interactivity. Audrey Claire, a Melbourne dating coach expert states that “everyone is searching for an emotional connection” and this application will allow us to kick start a dating app that looks at chemistry.
RISKS AND CHALLENGES
Cosmic Lover is not based on medical science, it is driven via pseudo-science. Therefore, it can not be taken as scientific fact but via astrological and or spiritual means is not always correct. Cosmic Lover is based on astrological and zodiac traits, such as human “affairs” and or “terrestrial” dwellings. A way to overcome this issue of fact and generalised information, is by ensuring users read and accept the terms of conditions, along with the application policy. One of the requirements will be that policy and terms of conditions will be provided within Cosmic Lovers information and disclaimer section when users sign up and or make an account with us, sections will provide means of information regarding fact and generalisation of information. Astrological principles have existed in just about every human civilisation, going back several millennia before the birth of Christ but information is scarce (Helgertz and Scott, 2020), although it has existed for a long time there is no scientific explanation.
Age is a very important factor and issue within production of dating applications, as underaged dating and or mature content information should not be promoted or pushed to underaged individuals. At Cosmic Lover, we want to overcome this issue of age by applying authorisation within application sign up, with users reading and accepting, app policy and monetisation, age restriction for users will be of 18 years of age and over, linking of accounts is advised. An example would be Facebook and or email account linking. All users must correctly input their age and have evidence providing age.
Breaches and misuse of Cosmic Lover users; such as spam, fake account production, use of bots, rude and or unethical behaviour attempts will be flagged, discarded and or banned from using the application, as users must agree and adhere to application monetisation and rules and regulations. Penalties and breaches, will be seen and investigated by the Cosmic Lover cooperation.
